Talk about a sticky situation....

Facebook and Myspace really do create a sticky situation for users. Even non-techie, non-computer lover that I am, I find myself drawn to these SNS. I think what is so enveloping about them is a few things. One is that you have an opportunity to be creative and to present yourself to others. Another is that you can interact with others in many different ways. Still another is that you can see and read about what your friends are doing through their posts, comments and photos. Finally, what is interesting is that you can learn about your friends' extended social network and their interests and activities. This can quickly take over and I am finding that it takes quite a lot of discipline to shut it down!
